Located in the heart of Shumen, this 60-year-old apartment has been fully renovated for a young man with a dynamic lifestyle and an eye for detail.
The main objective was to design an interior that combined a restrained aesthetic with clean, architectural lines, achieving a balance between geometry, colour and spatial form.
A selection of monochrome colours was applied working predominantly with neutral colours (white, black, grey and beige).
The atmosphere was shaped not only though a colour palette but also through meticulously considered furnishing details and the use of black metal accents. This approach emphasised a masculine presence with the idea of minimalism and a touch of industrialism throughout the home.
To achieve balance and soften the otherwise cool ambience, warm walnut wooden veneer details have been incorporated into parts of the bespoke furniture.
Followed by the kitchen, built in cabinetry and dining table were all custom designed to suit the resident’s preferences.
A key feature of the interior is the natural walnut flooring, playing as the dominant element in the entire design scheme complimenting the client’s attention to detail and dynamic lifestyle.
Maintaining harmony and avoiding visual clutter was essential. The space was conceived as a unified whole, employing minimal furnishing, consistent material and finish palette: natural wood flooring throughout, painted walls and ceilings.
Natural timber, metal, textiles and bespoke features are combined with unexpected interior solutions to emphasise the minimalistic character of the space.
The result is a modern, comfortable and highly functional living space in a rich, dark tonal scheme.
